Level 1 STARR Evaluations

The Level 1 STARR Evaluation is a comprehensive exercise in order to gauge how well the information in Horse 101 and Intro to STARR is understood and applied in a practical manner.

The evaluation is setup to be taken as many times as possible, if needed. It is important that all of our volunteers are consistent with all cues/corrections and procedures so that all animals and volunteers are safe while at the ranch. This evaluation is the best way to measure that understanding.

 

If you feel that you are ready to take the evaluation, please contact the office at (916) 941-0800 to sign up. There are limited spaces available.

 

Please allow at least an 1 1/2 to 2 hours for the evaluation process.
